Lynn Rachel Redgrave (born March 8, 1943 in London, England) is a British–American actress born into the famed acting Redgrave family. Her parents come Sir Michael Redgrave and Rachel Kempson, Lady Redgrave, her brother is Corin Redgrave and her sister is Vanessa Redgrave. She is the aunty of Natasha Richardson, Joely Richardson and Jemma Redgrave.

Lynn Redgrave's 1st film role was inside the little a portion inside Tom Jones in 1963. Around 1966 she was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress for Georgy Girl. She has worked in television, the London stage, & Broadway. She has twice been nominated for Tony Awards & is the 1977 and 1995 winner of the Sarah Siddons Award for her work around Chicago theatre.

Inside 2000, Redgrave divorced her husband of 33 years, producer John Clark, whenever it was revealed that he experienced fathered the toddler by having his supporter. A helper finally married, so divorced, Redgrave & Clark's boy Benjamin. Many years ago, Redgrave announced that she has breast cancer. She has written the play, A Mandrake Root, where she might star. When of March 23, 2005, the site of Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut states that she will be appearing last stage in the play Sisters of the Garden, all about a Mendelssohn & Boulanger sisters, in March 30, 2005. When of early 2005, she is reported to exist as writing the a single-one-man play all about her battle against cancer, from either which she is manifestly arrested, & her 2002 mastectomy, based on her book ''Journal: The Mother & Girl's Recovery from either Breast Cancer using photograph by Annabel Clark & text by Redgrave herself.

Redgrave was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire, although she later became the naturalized citizen of the U.S..
